introduction .
this is an independent and mutually exclusive blog for barry allen from dc comics. my portrayal takes inspiration from various comic runs, animated movies, and the television universe.
interaction .
i only write with mutuals to keep threads and interaction manageable. i'll happily write with original characters & muses from other fandoms. if i'm following you, i'm interested in developing our characters together. my dm's are always open to mutuals — i might take a bit to respond at times but please never feel like you're bugging me. alternatively, send in a meme!
portrayal .
i'm not a fan of ezra miller as barry. i use david fisher as a general reference in comic timelines (although i'll typically use icons from comic panels) and grant gustin when writing in dceu/dctv verses.
medium activity .
my replies come slowly and i take time away from tumblr often. plotted threads will usually take priority.
following .
i don't write with more than two to three portrayals of a character—this helps me focus on keeping threads going so i can really develop a dynamic between muses. i'd like to avoid threads getting abandoned due to high draft counts on this blog. if you're already writing with more than a couple portrayals of barry, i will likely not follow back; i don't like feeling like my muse is being collected/used for shipping.

this blog is multiship but i will only romantically ship with one portrayal of a character. this is a personal preference, i don't expect my writing partners to do the same.
